The Inspection / Zoning Department regulates the construction of new buildings, additions to existing buildings and alterations of buildings within the City of Chippewa Falls, including all electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work performed. The Department also regulates the use of property through Zoning regulations and enforces other municipal or state codes pertaining to minimum standards for existing housing and health and sanitation. The Provisions that the Inspection Department enforces, are minimum requirements adopted to promote the health, safety, morals, comfort, prosperity and general welfare of the City.
